Newest Cover & Publishing Schedule

06_ravishing-rapunzel-bHappy hump day to you. I do so hope you have as fabulous a day as that expression implies.  😉

I just thought I’d drop you a quick note to let you know what’s up with my publishing schedule.  I’m holed up writing all of January, so I haven’t been posting as much as I should. However, this month of writing should result in three projects over the coming months.

First up, I’ve got my Rapunzel Retelling, Ravishing Rapunzel. That’s the cover right there. Woo hoo! I’m going to get that set up for pre-order sometime within the next week.  My plan is to have the book available by Feb. 17.  I’ve got the cover, but I need to write the blurb before I set it up for pre-order. That’s also why the cover isn’t clickable. I don’t have a blurb to tell you much more about this tale. The good news is the bulk of the book is written. I’ve got to go in and flesh out a few things and then get it to the editor. But, I’m on target for the 17th, and once it’s set up for pre-order, that will be the final date, as Amazon frowns on the notion of you moving your pre-order. I’ll report back with the final date once the pre-order is set up.

I’m also working on a Rumpelstiltskin tale. That one isn’t as cheery as the other fairy tales because it’s an origin story for a character who is pretty nasty in his fairy tale. However, it’s different and sexy. That will appear in an anthology in March, and I’ll be able to publish it separately by April.  I’ll have more details on it as the anthology gets closer to publication date.

I’m also working on a story for an anthology centered around a place called The Diamond Club. We picked our own cover images and the artist is going to design cohesively themed covers for it. I’ll actually be writing this one in February, and the anthology is coming out in May. So, lots of fun.

Anyway, just wanted to give you an update on what I’m up to. Hope everyone out there is doing well.

As always,

May your love remain in bloom.

A busy December!

Hello there!

I realize it’s been a while since I’ve done a blog post, so I apologize for my absence. I’ve been plugging away on writing, trying to get way more done than I have in the past. I’m still working on Rapunzel, which I had to take a break from earlier. I think I’ll finish that tale by the end of December, for a January publication date.

I’ve been participating in a a few InstaFreebie giveaways. I’ve been making sure I email my mailing list because that’s a must. If you want to get in on all the news, be sure to join my mailing list. Unfortunately, I’ve been bad about posting to the blog, so I’m going to get better about that.

I thought I’d mention a promo I was in earlier this month.  It’s a way for people to get free books by joining an author’s mailing list.  While the promo officially ran through Dec. 12th, many of the authors still have their books available. Check out these fun romance stocking stuffers. They’re all free via Instafreebie and a great gift for yourself, so you can relax and chill out in these final hectic days as you try to finish your holiday shopping.

I’ll be participating in another giveaway after Christmas, so I’ll be sure to post on the blog, too, as I won’t be sending to the newsletter until January.

Until next time, have a great one.

Dream Trysts is Here and Just 99 Cents!

04_Dream-TrystsHappy Wednesday to you.

The fourth book in the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales Series went live today.  And the cool news is, for today only, you can grab Dream Trysts: A Sleeping Beauty Story at 99 cents.

I don’t normally offer my full-length novels at 99 cents, but I thought I’d try it once for opening day, and see how it worked. So, if you’d like to grab it now for it’s discounted price, go ahead and do it. I’ll be raising the book to its normal price, $3.99 on Thursday (literally, at midnight ET, I’m going to plug in the new price and it should go into effect by 6 am– Amazon is generally pretty quick about that kind of thing).

Starting next week, I’ll be offering a new freebie for my mailing list, Finding Bliss. This story is related to Dream Trysts: A Sleeping Beauty Story, but you don’t need to have read that book to enjoy Finding Bliss. I had been offering Nikki & Mike free to mailing list subscribers, but that offering will cease once Finding Bliss is available, Aug. 22.  I’m in the process of updating the back matter (that’s the stuff at the back of all the books). All the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales have the correct information about the freebie. I’ll be updating the Romance: Trysts series this week, so the back matter in each of those books points to the correct freebie.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy Dream Trysts.

Cover Reveal: Finding Bliss

05_Finding-BlissWhen Dream Trysts: A Sleeping Beauty Story went up for pre-order, I noted that I’d have a special short story exclusively for my mailing list. That story is Finding Bliss: A Dream Trysts Story.

As the main Dream Trysts is a Sleeping Beauty tale, it focuses on the love story between the cursed princess, Briar Rose, and her love, the charming prince. The  FREE short story, Finding Bliss, focuses on Blissa and Edmund, the Princess Briar Rose’s parents.

You should really read Dream Trysts before reading Finding Bliss, but both stories are fun and steamy. Here’s the cover and I hope you enjoy. Please note that Finding Bliss will only be available to mailing list subscribers. You cannot get it at any online retailer. Subscribers will be able to get their hands on this freebie starting Aug. 22.  If you’re interested, you can join the mailing list here.

Dream Trysts Available for Pre-Order

04_Dream-TrystsAugust is here, and it’s known for being hot, so what better time to release the latest in my Passion-Filled Fairy Tale series?

Dream Trysts: A Sleeping Beauty Story drops on Aug. 17 and is available for pre-order now.  The book will be $2.99 for those who pre-order it, and will jump to its normal price of $3.99 after on Aug. 19.  Like the other books in the series, it will be FREE to Kindle Unlimited Subscribers. The book takes an interesting twist on Sleeping Beauty, giving our wicked queen a little more motivation than just not being invited to  an event for a baby.

I really hope you enjoy this tale when it comes out. If you want to get a sneak peek, I’ve got a couple of Advance Review Copies available. You can grab one by filling out this form. ARCs are only available to my list subscribers, so you’ll be added to the mailing list when you request an ARC.  Don’t worry, the mailing list gets you other cool things, too. In honor of Dream Trysts, I’ve written another short story, Finding Bliss, just for Mailing List subscribers.  Because this story is expands the Dream Trysts story, it will become available Aug. 20, three days after Dream Trysts releases.

Big Book Giveaway – Featured Book: A Master’s Plan

I mentioned earlier this month that I was participating in the Big Book Giveaway.  As an author participant in the giveaway,  I agreed to highlight at least one of the other books that’s being given away.  So, I looked through the book list and settled on two that I think my readers might be interested in. Both these look like fun reads.  If you happen not to win, but see a book you like, do consider purchasing it or borrowing it via Kindle Unlimited or your local library (if it’s not at your local library, request they buy it. Often they’ll make purchases based on patron requests!)

SB is not your typical preacher’s wife. She struts her stuff in five inch stilettos, tossing a honey blonde lion’s mane Beyoncé would envy.

Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church members are less than enchanted with their Pastor’s new wife, and his daughter blames him for marrying much too soon after her mother’s sudden death.

Weary of dodging her daughter-in-law’s southern comfort punches, SB launches her master plan, a plan of life purpose where she depends on the Lord to order her steps and save her marriage. But her best-laid plans go awry when her husband suddenly goes missing, and a local politician devises a plan to suit them both – and get himself elected to the state legislature.

Unusual and atypical relationships form between government and church officials. Old and new friends, past and present family, make The Master’s Plan a ‘must read’ for everyone struggling to find purpose! (Ebook available FREE for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers)

Don’t forget: you have until the end of the month to enter the giveaway! Good luck.

Dream Trysts: A Sleeping Beauty Story Publishing in August

04_Dream-TrystsThe latest story in the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales will publish in the middle of next month. I’d hoped to get it out the door sooner, but I fell way behind this summer, and ended up needing to hire a different editor.  However, things are on track for mid August.

As a bonus for subscribers to the mailing list, I’ll be sending out a short story, Finding Bliss, on the day that Dream Trysts publishes. Finding Bliss  is a companion story to  Dream Trysts  and will only be available to mailing list subscribers. It’s my gift to the folks who are kind enough to let me into their inboxes every other month.

Last but not least, I have some Advanced Review Copies available for Dream Trysts. Advanced Review Copies (ARC) are available to anyone on my mailing list. I’ll be sending out the ARC sign up sheet one last time on Friday, or you can sign up for it now.

All ARC recipients are expected to leave a review  (on Goodreads and/or Amazon) for the book when it publishes. Links to where to leave reviews will be noted when the book publishes.

My Apologies to Kindle Unlimited Subscribers

03_Cinders-and-AshI was checking my Amazon author account the other day and noticed that I hadn’t had anyone in Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited (KU) program read the book this month. Usually, on the Author Dashboard, you can tell how many pages of your books have been read. Cinders & Ash had zero, which I thought was odd.

For some reason, I didn’t think it odd enough, and figured things would pick up. However, I did happen to want to check the page numbers for my books enrolled in the Select (the author name of the program that allows books to be in KU) program. Amazon has a secret way of calculating a book’s total pages, and from time-to-time, the number of pages they calculate for you book will change. Beauty and her Beastly Love lost one page, so I noted that. When I went to check on Cinders & Ash, it told me it wasn’t enrolled in Select!

Enrollment in Select lasts 90 days, and you can check a box to automatically re-enroll a book. I must have, at some point, unchecked the box. Amazon doesn’t send notice of when your Select term is about to expire (which is fine), so I didn’t realize it had. So, I am very sorry, because I have been promoting the book on Twitter and Facebook saying it’s FREE on Kindle Unlimited. But it hasn’t been because the book had expired from the program.

My apologies, and I’ll pay better attention in the future. I did re-enroll, so if you’re in Select, it’s now available. If you’re in Select and you bought Cinders & Ash when you normally would’ve just borrowed it, forward me your receipt, and I’ve got something special for you. You can contact me at rosetta (at) rosettabloom.com.
